Oscar Gallardo Oscar Gallardo, a member of the BMW Motorcycle team, is considered to be one of Spain's best enduro riders and has been Spanish champion several times. 33 years of age, he has entered for the Paris-Dakar Rally several times and took second place overall in 1997.

Gallardo is regarded as an all-round talent. As well as professional motorcycle racing, he has gone in for track athletics, skiing and golf in the past. He studied sociology in Madrid. With this experienced Spanish rider, the BMW Motorcycle team is fielding a professional with good prospects of success.
